Decision & Crossroads reading

A tarot reading for the decision you can’t stop circling

For the choice between two real paths. Should I stay or should I go. The one you flip-flop on, the one that won’t let you sleep. We read where you stand, where each road tends to lead, and the factor you are not weighing. The cards are drawn on the choice itself.

A decision reading reads the two real paths in front of you: your chart for where you are in this chapter and what each option tends to ask of you, the cards drawn by hand for the choice itself, and the psychology underneath the stuck. It does not pick for you. It shows you what you are actually choosing between, so the decision is finally yours to make with your eyes open.

Questions it answers

  • Should I stay, or is it time to go?
  • I keep going back and forth. Why can’t I just decide?
  • What is the obvious answer I am not letting myself see?
  • Is the thing holding me back a real reason, or is it fear?
  • A deadline is forcing this. What do I actually want?
  • I know what the logical answer is. Why does it feel wrong?

What we read

Your chart

The 1st house (the self you’d be on each path) against the 7th (what the other option requires of you), your North Node (the direction this chapter keeps pointing), and any outer planet transit that explains why this crossroads is live right now: a Jupiter opening, a Saturn structure coming due, a Uranus break. We read the timing, not just the choice.

The cards

Drawn by hand for your specific two paths and filmed, yours to keep. One card that often shows up here is the Two of Swords: a figure blindfolded between two blades, frozen. The reading does not just name the card. It reads whether the blindfold is protecting you or keeping you stuck, and which sword you are already leaning toward.

The psychology

What Karla McLaren calls the stuck that has information: the emotion underneath the indecision, and what it is actually asking. Most decisions feel impossible not because the options are equal, but because one answer threatens something that hasn’t been named yet. We name it.

You receive a written reading in plain language and the video of your cards.

The I Ching reads the direction of change

For a decision reading we pull the I Ching alongside the tarot. Where the Two Paths spread reads what each option holds, the I Ching reads the direction the situation is already moving, whether this is a season to act or to let things ripen. It offers timing and posture, not a verdict. You still choose. You just choose knowing which way the current runs.

A glimpse of the depth

An anonymized excerpt, shared with the reader’s spirit but none of their details.

Uranus is crossing your Midheaven, and the reading does not gloss over what that means: the structure you built around your work is being taken apart, not as punishment, but as a season. The choice in front of you is not really stay-or-go. It is whether you leave on your terms now, while there is still ground beneath you to push from, or wait until the ground moves for you. That is a different question than the one you came in with.

The card you drew in the position of the unweighed factor was the Judgement card. Not the ominous reading of it, but the one that fits here: a call you can already hear, a knowing that has been building, and the question of whether you are ready to answer it. The reading leaves you with this, not as a verdict but as something to sit with: what would you do if you trusted what you already know?

Before you book

Each reading is made for you by hand, and written for your question alone. You meet the work first through the free Essence, and we shape your question together before anything is read. You can cancel for a full refund any time before your cards are pulled; once they are pulled, the reading is being made for you and all sales are final. We cannot redo a reading or change what your chart says.

Decision reading questions

Can a tarot reading tell me which choice to make?

No, and we wouldn’t trust one that claimed to. A decision reading shows you what each path tends to hold, what is driving the stuck, and what you may not be weighing. It gives you a clearer picture. The choice stays yours, which is the only place it can actually live.

What if I have more than two options?

The Two Paths spread works with two clearly defined options. If you have three or more, part of the framing conversation (before we read) is narrowing to the real tension: often one “option” is a delay of the others, and naming that is itself useful. Tell us where you are when you book, and we will shape the question together.

What if I already know the answer but can’t bring myself to act on it?

That is the most common version of this question, and it is the one a decision reading is best at. Knowing and being ready are different things. The reading looks at what is underneath the gap, what is making the known answer feel unlivable, and whether it is a real obstacle or fear wearing the costume of one.

What if I don’t know my birth time?

That is fine. The reading says so honestly and adjusts: the houses shift, but the planets and the transits still read clearly. The chart timing work is not lost without a birth time, only softened at the edges. The cards and the psychology carry the full weight of the reading.

Is this fortune-telling?

No. We read tendencies and the forces at work, not fixed outcomes. No one can tell you which path leads to the better life, because that is not how paths work. What we can tell you is what each path tends to ask of you, and what you are carrying into the choice. That is usually enough.
